COUNTRY CHIC WEDDING AT DUNDULLIMAL, DUBBO (KATRINA & BEN)

25 AUGUST 2018

In the lead up to the wedding, it was forecast for rain. We were in the thick of a long, terrible drought, so we weren’t even sure if the rains would come at all. The morning of the wedding, the skies filled with heavy, black clouds but things stayed dry throughout the ceremony. We also managed to squeeze in some portraits before we started to feel some drops, but that didn’t scare Katrina and Ben.

Coming from an agricultural background, they had been, along with their friends and family, praying for rain for months. So when it started to pour down with rain, there was no disappointment, there was more joy and celebration to add to what had already been felt earlier that day.

The Burrell’s had the most amazing wedding day and I couldn’t have been more blessed to be apart of it. It didn’t matter that we were cold and wet, because there was so much love to compensate for it. And we got some stunning shots in the rain!
